My name is Pierce Legeion.  I am a graduate of Penn State University with a Bachelor of Science in Meteorology and a minor in Global Business Strategies for the Earth, Energy, and Materials Industries.  My interest in the weather started at the age of 5 when the Weather Channel was my favorite channel on TV.  I can remember as a kid sneaking downstairs in the middle of the night during the blizzard of '93 to watch the storm unfold on live TV.  I drove my family crazy at times as a result, but weather was definitely my passion then and still is today.  My love for weather has taken me to great places.  From pursuing my education at Penn State to chasing tornadoes in the Great Plains of the central US to interning back home in Pittsburgh, my love for the weather grows with each new experience.  Today, I work for a television station in my hometown.  I have done everything there from production work behind the scenes to on-air work on a live show aired weekly.  I was also instrumental in starting the first and still the only live weathercast in the Youghiogheny River Valley region of southwestern PA.  I designed all of the weather graphics used at the station and also present the weathercast to thousands of viewers.

I hope you have enjoyed your stay thus far.  Feel free to send me an email and let me know what you think!  Thanks for visiting my website.  Have a great day!
